A possible Randy sighting????

I was headed south from Auburn Hills yesterday on I-75 at about 2:30PM. I saw a KTM 9x0 adventure headed north -- looked like you Randy (Black / Orange Shoei Hornet).

I gave the "wave" but aparently Harley Riders arent the only guys who don't wave back (or could it have been because I was in a cheby impala and not on my bike?)

On a related note, I also passed Todd as he was headed west on I-94. I did the same wave and noticed that he wasn't wearing a helmet (but that could have been because he was also in a big cheby).

Sweet writeup, Todd. Thanks for taking the time to put it together.

Awesome pics, thanks for sharing. Definitely looks like a great ride with a group that won't let it stay calm for long.

Matt smurfing out.

Schleebovitch!

We arrive in Eagle Colorado and check into our Hotel. It rains all night. It rains when we get going. We hit a pass and the mud is up to our axles. Jon tries tearing of his LOW FENDER and somehow grinds through his steel braided brake line. We turn around to get back down so we can reevaluate the track. Mud, mud, mud...

Peter ain't got no time for that!

We hide under the canopy while we plot our next move.

The rain stops.

Aaron has some trubs with his fuel system.

What to do?

Peter suggests adding Schlebovitz to the gas. We do and the bike starts right up.

Let's go!

SPACE DOCKING........

We are heading to Colorado Springs. They are having a huge KTM Rally there.

Bruno dropped a contact lens.....I think?

Found it.

Team QT.

Peter is trying to catch a napkin in his ass, delivered by a DR650. It's a long story.

We arrive in Colorado Springs. The Rally is in full force.

The KTM 450 Dakar rally bike.

Radak is in lust.

Jimmy Lewis

I have a man crush on Jimmy Lewis. He is one of my Dakar heros.

We leave the rally. Get checked in to our hotel. Have dinner at a great BBQ joint. And then the Drinking begins. Most of the picture turn out blurry like Peters head the next morning.

We wake up and load the bikes for the trip back to Michigan.

Matt has his pimp glasses on and is talking like the guy from The Hangover.

The next few shot need no explaining.

We head to Denver and arrive home safely.

A great adventure!

Wow

Todd - those are phenomenal pics, and the storyline is really witty. Tell the truth now - did your wife (Julie?) help you with the monologue?
Now, the requests. We know you have "hidden" pics - your bike after getting belt-sanded by a mountain, Schlee-bo-vitch being poured over locals, Bruno licking his white boots to a shine, Matt knuckleballing Jon in a same-sex brother wrestling match, etc. Whatcha got!!!!????

Lol - great job documenting the trip.

Randy

Not me Matt, sorry. Was inside that Auburn Hills Chrysler Building until 7pm or so:( There's an orange Adventure that another Chrysler guy rides, but I haven't met him yet. Probably a poosy:)

No - I wouldn't have waved at you in your cheby impala unless you were displaying cleavage

Randy

Ha! My wife knows nothing of my crash or the purple Jesus forming on my bruised hip bone. The first rule of crash club is no body talks about crash club!

I wish I had those hidden pics. But there is a picture of my helmet back in a picture. It's siting on the trash can when we where waiting under the gas station canopy. Really ground down the Arai. Better than my head.

Do you dig Bruno's shiny new white shoes? Ooooooh weeeeeeeee!

Great times!

While enjoying the pics, the guys in the office were diggin on the Red Bull party truck. Further investigation turned this up;

I've decided that I need this truck.

We are planning a fly and ride to stay with friends in CO. Some other sources of info for anyone that may be intrested;

Looks like these folks will likely get the nod for our rentals.

There is a 17.57% that my son and I will make the 13 and Woodward muster for next weeks urban assult tour. Maybe we'll see you there...
