I bought a heated snowmobile shield for my helmet last winter. It plugs into the bike and basically works like a car's defroster to keep the shield clear of frost and fog. Works great in any temperature I've had it in.

This winter, I finally have heated grips, which should extend my riding ability quite a bit. I'm thinking about studding up a set of knobbies for use on the road even when the ice starts to form. Anyone here done this before?

All you cold weather guys..... I found that if you buy a third heated grip, you can slip it in your pants to keep your junk warm. Almost like a heated sheath more or less.

It really helps with those headwinds.

Best part is, they typically come in packs of 2 so you can split them up and share with a friend!
