Event files are posted. A couple or three areas to keep your eyes open for the guys without roll charts going the wrong direction around a loop.

I hope the 2010 route is the one where you start off with a 1/2 mile of deep, deep sand.

Does look just like the 2010 maps. I think they had all the sand removed from the routes because of too many complaints. Some may have slid downhill since then though.

Bowling alleys of DEEP DEEP sand. Oh I will be sad to miss the masocistic fun.

I predict that Randy will talk in tongues Saturday night. Or Peter will call him a poussee.

In tongues? ya mean different tongues like "lech mich mal kreuzweise"? or singing German drinking songs?

Curiosity was killing me so I had to use Google Translate on that first phrase.... Pretty much what I expected. SO pumped to finally be hitting the trails this weekend!

Bike's on trailer, camping and riding gear packed. Is it Friday yet? First timer here and I'm stoked to get out and do this.

So how far am I going to have to dismantle this Sherpa to fit it in the back of my 2000 Passat wagon? I'm figuring fork and bars plus rear wheel will definitely have to come off. I've got 5' x 4' back there, all about 3' high.

Sounds about right. No trailer hitch? That would definitely make things easier!
