Wrong John - I would repost those pics but I was really looking for the first ride you took in the Parrot Suit. When is was really yellow and shiny, went looking through the archives.

I think OldRice was with us and we met at the Home Depot in Lake Orion. My KLR was still shiny, pre sand crashes.

As a result of vehicle content cutting due to US vs. Euro currency exchange, KTM has released the trimmed down 2009 690 Adventure in a lower cost, economical electric "Green" version. I have had the opportunity to ride this awesome piece of technology and I can honestly say that it has more torque than any 990 I've been on (we're assuming that the 990 is NOT running). I'm not just saying that because I own lots of KTM stock either. This baby is a BEAST and handles like it's on rails or has four wheels or something. BTW, $10,995 retail, $13,000 out the door at most somewhat reputable dealers, $15,500 at all other dealers ($4,000 prep charge - KTM hired BMW's ex-sales rep).
