we picked it up privately down in fairfax this a.m. Has a few little dings and minor little surface rust spots, but is in really good shape overall. I can't say the same about our yard since we've gotten it home. All of a half of an acre and we already have tracks forming

Skierd...you out there picking up the next tag? I don't wanna have to use my wizardry rights as game master

While we're all waiting for the next tag...

Is anybody interested in meeting for a group ride around the WV panhandle and Thurmont areas next Sunday? I can't get a kitchen pass Saturday...

Ok, who wants to take over here. Any volunteers? Looks like this guy is too busy to post the tag.

Rules change

far be it from me, the noob, to suggest something so drastic, but.... I want to play.

Since Maryland is, by some comparisons, a small state which can be traversed in 6 hours from end to end- that being garrett county to OC- the long way, I politely suggest that the next tag has to be put up within that time frame or else it reverts back to the tag. Next person to get it gets it.

It's just a little ridiculous that a large group of people are missing out because one person is either on a camping trip or just not riding. If you aren't committed to getting a new tag the same day, then don't get the existing tag.

Heck, the last three have been within 5 minutes of each other, and maybe because of that fact they have been posted quickly and the game has moved on quickly.

Just a thought, please excuse me if I'm out of line.

Understandable, but the reason the last 3 tags have been grabbed and dropped so quickly is because the riders probably took both photos on the same ride. So you come home, post your grab and then post your drop.

I think 2 or 3 days is a reasonable time frame for someone to find a spot to drop it. If you have a great spot in mind but can't make it there in that time, drop somewhere close to home and wait until you get another chance.

I say if he doesn't put up the new one tonight, first person to grab the snowball stand tomorrow gets the glory.

Was cleaning the shed out to make room for the xt all day. Had more crap in there then I knew what to do with. Anyone wanna buy some cruiser shyt?

Anyways.... Skierd stated that it would be sat. evening or sun. before he would post the next tag. Am not coming up with excuses for him, but I know he works during the weekend, so I think that's why it may be a little tougher for him to get back out there then the rest of us that work during the week.

With that said, if Skierd does not post a new tag by tonight then we'll do like Greg said and go back to the last tag, the snowball stand.

A lot of the players of this do not have laptops and tend to race home before getting bruced to post whatever tag they received before setting up the next one. Completely understandable. However, it is riding season (for those unseasoned riders, noobs, and old people that can't forgo the cold) and I would like to see this game continue running smoothly and allowing as many people to participate as possible.

So if you know you're not going to be able to set a tag up for 2 days, please let someone else get it.

In other words, once you get a tag, you have the remainder of that day, plus the next to set one up. As noted, maryland is a small enough state that all anyone really needs to do to place a tag is go down the street about a mile and there should be something significant enough that everyone / someone recognizes. If you don't get to place the tag that you wanted, there is always a next time. Trust me..I keep waiting to get one that I can take back out to western maryland, it's about timing though.
