Well put.
Great adventures on your website.

West Virginia is a beautiful state with great roads, so I challenge everyone to move the tag around. Go explore parts of WV you've never been to. The past 6 months has seen the tag travel to all corners of the state. Let's just keep it moving. That makes it more interesting.

I know you want to write back and say, "If you want to move it, come get it." I agree. And I have. Remember my February ride over to Mt Storm to grab the tag? No electric underwear and no wireless devices. My butt is still thawing out.

Let's remember it's all in fun, and it's all about the ride.

Ride safe and enjoy WV (all 55 counties).

Hey Pnoman,

That's probably why some EP players fear crossing North Mountain so much- no cellular service on that side! I'm oncall this week, so I'm stuck on this side.

Hmm, there's Washington, Carroll, Garrett, Howard, Calvert....

Have a good ride! I have to work today. You had better bring a rainsuit along, as it was raining in Clarksburg all night. Don't know about points north and east of here. Kind of windy out there this morning too.

Looking forward to an interesting new tag site.

New Tag, not too far away from the last

This building is on the same property as a farm House which was the headquarters for a guy who is now "a molting in the ground"
This Hall was one of the smaller stops on the Chitlin Circuit. At one time Performers like James Brown, Ray Charles, John Lee Hooker ect... played here.
Here's the Farm house that all the tourists come to see, but IMHO the block building which is the actual tag has a more interesting history.

I'll post a link up to the story which will be in our paper tommorow but I can't divulge more until it's up. Or go out and grab a copy of the Sunday herald mail tomorrow... it'll be in the lifestyle section.

Really cool tag! worth 200 more clicks on the odo Can't go more than a mile in the area without passing a historical marker.

I met the owner of the house while I was there. He and his friend (both WW2 vets) were thrilled with the reason I was there. Though, when asked if he wanted his picture to be in the post, he said with a big smile; "images of me don't stick in cameras... cause I'm a ghost". He's been renovating the property. I'm going to send a link to the thread to him so he can see for himself.

I got air at least 3 times on Harpers Ferry Rd. i'll call it whoopty road. Great twisties too. south of Sharpsburg....

I'll let the pix do the talking.

New tag either this afternoon or tomorrow AM. Depends on how my cold arse is feeling.

New Tag::::::Even PB could take these gravel roads. I saw an old Cadillac out there.

There is a guillotine!

it's at this intersection:

The crab is at the base of the intersection sign.

There are several fun spooky things along the road that is not visible in the picture.
The Falls road out of Bulletmore is by far the quickest to rural freedom>

Just Read It! Must've been a hoppin place! As a "musician" myself, this stuff is fascinating.

Thanks for posting the link elroy. It's gonna be hard to beat that tag. It's gotta be in the running for the best tag ever. There is some fine riding in the area, history out the yinyang, 150 years of significance, ghosts of MDubya, and great stories. Thanks 800SSDuc
