Nice tagging and HAPPY NEW YEAR Bitches!!!
Heya gang -

Sorry 'bout dropping off the edge of the earth. Had a couple of crazy-busy months there working on the volunteer officiating side of the Indycar race, and by the next time I looked at the map, the tag backlog was OMGWTF-inducing. And even though I've checked the board periodically all along, I didn't notice Jack's message light until just now. But hey, January is looking annoyingly light, so the mapping will resume.

Anybody wanna step up as an alternate mapper? My available time is probably going to take a further hit this year, so it would be good to have another map admin.

Happy holidays!

Dave

USGS 57 (MD 54) should get you here.

There is a small amount of gravel road involved in getting to the tag. If more clues are needed, let me know.
Amusingly, a friend of mine lives in the house directly across from this tag. Dang, if only I hadn't been driving back from Atlanta...

Hey Dave!

Good to hear you're OK.

I started a map from where you left off. I told Brian that about the time I got it finished you'd be back.

I'm willing to help with the map, it would be cool to only have one map.
Let me know how.

Here's my map.
I started with tag #554 and I'm up to #590.
I will probably have it finished today or tomorrow.

But we love meaningless dribble in our tag thread.

We decided to put the real meaningless stuff in the SMIB thread

Near and Quick Tag: Open Grate Bridge

Near and Quick Tag: Open Grate Bridge, Monocacyville
In 1952, a truck fell through the east side of a previous bridge, which was probably built by the same company that made the Four Points Bridge.

Conover Road at Monocacy River.
Monocacyville is a previous name for Harney.
News from 1952.

On the last day of the year we saw MD TOR Tag #610 dropped by DR650SEX. 56 tags were dropped between 7-24 and 12-31.

Here's a map of the last 56 tags.

I'm hoping to get these on the other map. Just waiting to hear from slacktrack.

Tag on!
