Bridges

I decided to take a ride through the bridge country in the Taneytown area today, as the weather was so great and work can wait when there is a tag to be had. What a beautiful countryside, the sun setting and the blue mountains off in the distance as I was carving through the curves of the rolling hills. Sublime. Life is great when you are carving through the landscape on a bike, life's worries melt away, and peace decends.
Sorry for sharing, but today was a great day to be out on a bike in the countryside

If this is the other clue, it doesn't look like the same bridge.

Even if the photos are shot from opposite ends they don't appear to be a match. Guessing the Tagged bridge is not old... so its not easily found on county documents and Old Bridge websites....
The current tag is the bridge on the left. It can be found on Bridgehunter.com or it can be found by riding on Reels Mill Road until you see it.

Not too far from here (near 80 & 355) is Fosters Grille. A great place for a burger.

No, that was me getting Bruced on Thanksgiving day.

BTW, Reels Mill is a nice little road.

Rather than tipping your hand if you're gonna grab it, you should just grab it ........... or you could end up getting bruced again.

See, it's not a "hand tipping". It's a motivational tool......

Good job guys.

New Tag

Apologies Skierd. Nice day for a ride though. This tag is a bit closer to home for you.

Keeping with the theme of the bridges, this bridge was built 203 years ago, and is the oldest bridge still in use in Maryland.

Tag shot

I have a request.

If the tag grabbers could please post a location with their grab, it would be appreciated. An address, a map co-ordinance, or even the nearest intersection would be great.

This will make it a little easier for me to keep the map updated.

Here's the map.

As of 1/18/12 Dave's original TOR map is now current.

Tag On

and Thanks!

Cool Wayne! Thanks for stepping up.

Dave (slacktrack),
The map exists because you just took it up and ran with it for years! Thank you for all the work, the map is inspiring!
