The rest of my tag story:

Night tagging often presents challenges that one might not encounter if it was daylight. I first stopped at this location.

Not exactly the right spot. I checked the WMA sign near the road. It was the same name as the tag location. There were no weeds just a harvested cornfield. Using technology I'd looked up the location again on a ADV. Figured out it was the wrong spot so I continue down the road looking for another one. Had no luck, turned around. The actual location about 3 miles up the road from my first stop. Which I actually had ridden by to get to the first location I went to.

I have had 4 really close calls crashing on a bike. Two were last night:eek::eek: heading back about 5 minutes from tag spot, a deer ran in front of me. It was big, it was very fast and I didn't see it until it was in front of me! Total time in my vision was .5 seconds, no joke and no more than 1 foot from my front tire. Scared the crap out of me.

Later, I am a few miles from home making a right hand turn at an intersection. I was going a little faster than putting through it and the front tire just starts sliding out. As the bike was going down I put my right foot down to right the bike. Didn't get enough push off to fully get the bike vertical, then the rear tire slides out. I save it and go into a tank slapper. I survived.

I am usually quick to drop it. But have been working really late. Didn't want to set in the dark. No later than noon tomorrow. Besides its been cold I know you FF's will ride in these temps.

Exactly Lance. I meant to say NOT ride, so no hurry.

Seriously though worked a couple 12 hour days and I really don't want to set the tag with dark pictures. Anyway, scoping out some spots now.

FYI, It's warmer in Billings Montana than BMore right now.

It's not really cold yet. Most of us here ride all winter.

Plug it in, plug it in.

And for future reference and because we're a bunch of impatient FFs, we have a 48hr rule:
#2.a - New tag is to be placed within 48 hours of the grab.

Here ya go. If it's been tagged before...oh well.

There are 2 bushes in front of the 2 pillars, crabby is behind the bush on the right. Partially covered with a leaf.

Was hoping it would be a quick grab. Looked like they had just raked out the mulch bed and probably be mulching soon.

New Tag

If the truck isn't there, tag the sign.

If they are both gone, tag the street sign in the first pic.

Crabby is located at the base of the Leyland Cypress behind the headless guy under a brick.
