Ghostie goes west...part deux....

Well some of you may remember my first attempt at making it to the left coast....Yeah didnt go so well, so I figured that I would try it again....However I got it started in the proper fashion.....CB made dinner...

Then it was home to finish packing.....

What a mess.....but cant forget the good stuff.....

Anyway...got it all packed and loaded and I was going to leave on Monday, but that stupid hurricane decided it wanted to roll through just where I wanted to go, so I had to leave a day later and change my course just a little bit. Instead of Tx, and the southern routhe it was Mi and the northern route...So the call went out to CCRyder and he said no problem so off I went....

Just a few misc. photos. We all know how it is when we are trying to get someplace.....just go and limited photos......

Oh yeah and this guy!!!! He was nice enough....

Soon enough I arrived at champs house...I unload my gear and come back to the garage and find him......well you know....

We had a great BBQ sammich for dinner..I had a little bit o' drink and it was time for bed......I woke up the next morning to see this....

Nice view and all but it was a little wet.Oh well cant have it easy all the time. Had a great b-fast and then it was time to hit the road...

Then it was time for Kansas....and well a whole lot o nothin.

Well so I thought....then on the horizon I saw some tall wind mill lookin things.....

As I got closer I saw that there were a lot of them. It reminded me ov the VLA in New Mexico.....I looked a little closer and saw and old school windmill, and the slightly newer version. I tried to get a good pic but I couldnt get close enough, you get the idea though.

Then it was time for more of nothing.....

Then I hit Colorado....and someone moved the mountians......

Well then I found one....

Yeah I know weak on the Colorado photos, but I was in a grove and just couldnt stop. I promise to take some more tomorow and post them up later. I am in Glenwood Springs Co now, and heading for Napa Valley to spend a weekend at a winery.....stay tuned.....

And was happy to get on the road. I spoke to some local guys and they suggested rt 141 south......So I took it

It was a great two lane road with spectacular views, so many things to see...so little card memory...hera are a few....

See what a great road.....

A lot of wide open spaces......

Another bike shot.....

And why not...another self pic....

Artsy Fartsy flower shot...

Cool bike shot....

And....

Saw a sign for a waterfall....and there was one....

Then I made it to Torrie and called it a nite.....More to come.....

Based on my experience and I've been stopped 3 or 4 times in the US, I've gotten off with a warning every time , when the state trooper realizes I'm out of country! no ticket!
