Bust my chops, please. Tuesday *was* a two-fer gimme, but I woke up feeling like: (insert Anglo-Saxon noun here) and found I had asked for North but got Pole. Just couldn't face 220 round trip miles on the slab to start riding on a two-lane with curves. An exercise in "Be careful what you wish for, you might get it."

Cancelled an 'off' day this morning because some co-workers needed time to study for a certification.

By now the NEK sharks are circling, so you prolly won't be charged with thread homicide.

380 miles + two tags to place in two states= one long night...hope you're carrying gas for that orange hog.

Gas: well the orange hog averaged 47.5 mpg on the way home the reserve light came on at 190 miles..I could have gone 280 or so miles on 1 tank!!. I do have some miles to cover for the new tags though.

nope it s a 2004 950 with a 16T front sprocket and running Pirelli Scorpions. With the 17T sprocket I've gotten as high as 55 mpg. I have the needle clips raised one position but the jetting is stock. I am running FMF pipes with the spark arrestors. I hit a top speed of 122 mph according to the speedometer...but it was probably only about 116 due to the error....turned 20,000 miles on this trip...and I only went up to 122 mph for a brief sprint on I91...sort of a lets see what we can do moment.

well its no big deal. I wasn't planning on posting the NH tag only because I really didn't want to have to go get the next one. So the VT tag was really the big one. So it really makes things a lot easier on this side of the table.

It's EH's tag, and he's here, so it's his call.
