The next tag may be coming Sunday morning. There's a dirt bike ride smack dab in the middle of the day tomorrow. Evil Clown is forcing us out into the woods on the little bikes. Was going to try get a new tag early tomorrow, but the roads are freezing tonight - was just outside walking the dog. I think an early ride tomorrow would be danga-roos!

Making a tag like this just wouldn't be fair:

URNUTS made a very common mistake that fateful day - he brought his 650 on a 'Jimmy' ride. When Jim (atadloco) sez a 'KLR ride' it is really secret code for 'bring a 250 or smaller or yer gonna die carrying your bike out'. Most of us have learned this the hard way. 'Cept that danged FreeTheBeast maybe...

Very rare footage that day. It was some kind of wet and slimy with leaves covering everything. Most of the time Jim rides that KLR650 in the woods like it's a little dirt bike. All you can do to keep up on something better suited for woods riding. Amazing rider he is.

From last year:

FTB photo

"Love to help you out, Jim, but...I'm not supposed to get wet today."

Best part is we finally get to the other side and had to turn around and come back through.

Anyone wanna go for a ride while we're waiting on the next tag? HopEverett around 11am this morning.

Buurrrrrrrrrr....... that looks like a cold day of pushing bikes out of the mud... which I guess keeps you warm....

I'm going for a ride today.. I'm thinking a northern loop of some sort....maybe throught the White Mountains....

You talking about the Everett Dam area?? Little bikes???

Laugh Get out there!

Good to see you're still going out for a ride. :~) Sorry I'll be a day or so posting the next tag. I may place the tag tonight after the dirt bike ride. If the roads are nice and dry, I'll set the next tag later. If they are freezing up again, it will be tomorrow. I have a place in mind.

Mudhen had said this game is great because it gets us out there when we would have otherwise not gone for a ride. Glad to see you're going out, A-Bone.

Yes, Everett Dam area - Clough State Park. That's where we'll be riding to stay out of the way of the hunters...literally!

Yes. What you prolly remember as Clough.

Looks like it's gonna be a great day for a ride. Watch the shady spots up there. And just for fun pop into a bike shop or two and kick the tires on a little bike.

Yup. It's ice. That's Jim's KLR cocktail!

Here he is giving it a bath a coupla weeks ago.

We discovered the key to keeping up is go riding after he's spent a day sanding his cabinets by hand. Of course, this technique will soon end as he wraps up his kitchen project...

Next tag? Not a bad idea. Andrew...?

Might as well grab this while you're out.

Cheers and good luck...

The weekend looks perfect for riding... When Whizzerwheel and I were up there today and the roads were dry and free of any ice....

Mudhen and geode got three states at once...

Wicked The NEW TAG

is this:

It was placed more for its location within the state than the object.

This is another clue. Photo take just off the road of the tag location.

Hope you made it home safe, Andrew. I got caught in the snow coming home from Thanksgiving, and finally called it quits in G-town when cars started spinning out in front of me.

EC was kind enough to pick me up at a gas station and shuttle me home.
