Laugh where it was...

I had tucked it in the very southwestern most corner of the state.

You can see the drive-in parking in the picture. Also, click on the picture to go to Google Maps and zoom in. You can actually see a little black dot that is the granite marker.

:~)

Even without a discount, Smugmug rocks, though.

You going to snag a few tags out here next year?

Sure had me stumped on this one...I thought it was in Orford...what in the world is a "Dartmouth College Road" monument doing down there? Especially when the Dartmouth College Road starts in Orford going north...anybody know? A little history lesson needed here... please and thanks

Rt. 10 through Orford actually "starts" down there. 63 and 10 are contiguous at the line.

Must be the case, funny how the name of the road changes... even rt.10 as you follow it along has several names, but the only place that I saw it actually called the Dartmouth College Road was starting in Orford. Dartmouth College Hwy, Piermont Rd, and lots of others too. Orford even has a defunct drive-in too, although I don't recall ever seeing it while riding there. Almost caused me to have premature tag-o-ramitis.

There's a drive-in in Northfield, MA close to the tag site, too.

I've been thinking we need either Filephoto-tag-o-rama or photoshop-tag-o-rama to sustain us through the long winter days.
Photoshop-tag would be when someone post a pic and you have to post a pic with your bike in the same place (much like we did with Cabella's over in the Maine thread). And/Or file photo...I post a picture of my bike at Lake Sunapee, then you pull out a picture of your bike in the same place.
It's all very goofy, but why are we here, if not to entertain our selves.
What do you think? Would either idea fly? I've got thousands of file photo's of my bike in NH or NE...and with photoshop...it could be limetless.

Sounds like an interesting idea but it might be worth the effort to start a separate thread to keep the purists from coming unglued over the winter, not to mention out of the OP's thread and his original intent.

Of the two, 'Filephoto-Tag-O-Rama' sounds like the most fun to me. I'd almost think you'd want to keep those two games separate as well. Just my 2cents...

When are you starting this?
