I am guessing that this is not a claim to the tag so I am going after it today. If no one beats me to it I will have a new tag posted by the end of today. If anyone else is going after this keep an eye out for me I will be on my black Bandit 12 with a green/white ZRX1200 in tow.

Get out and ride today

Well i will claim the tag the Radguzzi put on the Penobscot Narrows Bridge here is a link to the history of the bridge http://www.penobscotnarrowsbridgefest.com/History.html

And here are some pics, not sure where Guzzi parked for the pics but this is what I got with all the damn tourist on the road.

As promised I will post a new tag after I take the wife to supper.

Extra credit for naming the Fort on the "Mainland" the shore also.

Ok, the first photo is in downtown Bucksport.
The second is crossing the bridge leaving Verona Island, right around the middle.
And the third looks to be from the Waldo side, near the old bridge (looks like you found the road closed barriers, but on the other side of the bridge).

And the extra credit answer is Fort Knox.

Well as promissed here is the new tag and clue.

This is Americas oldest surviving wooden fort. It is located along the Kennebec River

If anyone is intrested in this tag and needs another clue I can leave one in the AM before I head out for the day with my son.

Have fun/dress warm/ ride safe

Nice snag for the tag there PWRCRZR...

Just so happens I will be right there at the site of the new tag tommorow but I will and let someone else have a go.... meaning I'll wait a few days before I claim it...

We can make this an Old Fort tag match, I know (and so do you ) of a couple more in the area.

Good one...

Rob

Tugboat,
Perfect descriptions of the photos and extra credit...

Why didn't you take the bridge tag...?
Let me guess... you are in NYC for a bit...

Best,
Rob

Oh, I would have grabbed it, had I been up that way. I actually live in Portland, and Bucksport is just a nickname (it's pretty close to my last name and a kid at college said, "Hey Bucksport, wanna go to Becksvoort?" and it stuck). But I am off to NY tuesday... Ugh...

By the way, Radguzzi, you'll be pleased to know the accountant in charge of
the $$$ part of the Penobscot Narrows Bridge project for Cianbro company is a Ducati rider
and amateur racer. She also bought her first bike from me YEARS ago when I sold it
(my first bike as well) to get a K75S.

She said they offered her a chance to site visit during construction, and she was able
to climb out on safety net for a white-knuckle view during construction of the observation tower.

What number does your friend the accountant run on the Duc...? Does she run at Loudon..? I may have photos of her.

Well that must have been a hell of a ride up there on the bridge during construction... !

Best,
Rob

Crowd...? 42 per huh...? That many..? Luckily that is an average and I don't have to see that many people where I am...

Where the hell have you been...? Thought you fell off the Earth or maybe Uranus....
