Shipping bike from India to South America
Am planning a Summer09 South America trail. Have been torn between buying a bike in Chile / Argentina or shipping my super unmanouverable Enfield Bullet from India. Looking for pointers regarding people / processes / prices for such transport.
Anyone done that before?
What papers I need for carrying me and my bike across all countries?
This 'carnet' thingie - do I need it for an Indian registered bike?
Do I need an International Drivers Permit?
Anything else / important?

Then ask around for whats the shipping cost to South Americas. It shouldn't be more than 20000 INR.
