Just to keep the game moving over the holiday, I am going to leave the clues in the photo.

New TAG is about 100 miles from me if I take the scenic route through the National Forest.

It is an Air Hawk 2 seat pad. Yup, I am man enough to say I use a seat pad on longer trips.

Thank you!!

Well, technically it was my second grab. My first was the one you dropped at the Maxton-Laurinburg airport boneyard. But I got chastised for not being quick on the new tag, so I have spent some time getting file tags I can throw up quickly when needed. Now I am ready to play full time.

As long as I get permission to go for a ride from my better half, that is.

Just get her a bike too. Next thing you know, she'll be brucing you.

Got a question.. How do you guys solve the frozen toes issue with riding in the colder weather. It was just the toes today. I had gortex combat boots with two pairs of socks.

I wanna say thanks again for having me in NC and tagging with you guys. It's slow in SC.

I've found the two pairs of socks makes my feet colder cause it hampers the circulation.
One GOOD pair of socks, (snowboard/ski socks work brilliantly) and something to help with the wind.
Most boots are good at venting, which means at speed all that warmth is gone.
I have some cheap plastic rain booties for when it's really cold.

Or lately I have a maxima with a good heater.

Awesome idea! I got a couple of chemical warfare over boots I could throw on.

Cold Feet

After years of deer hunting on both ends of the state, I finally figured it out for me. I was wearing to much. If your feet start to sweat, they are going to get cold. Start with a thin pair of poly.sox to wick the moisture away then a good pair of boot sox for warmth.
Now if you have the funds to spare, Spring for a pair of electric inserts or boots. Tour Master makes a pair of inserts that I have been looking at.

I wear a pair of georgia mud boots. Its rubber to the lower ankle, and leather to mid calf. My feet never even think about getting cool.

I love my pull on boots.

Yep

If you want all the foot warmth tech, talk to a ski shop. They are used to cold weather in boots.
