Rules for Fayetteville?

OK, I gotta ask. Are there special rules in Fayetteville?

After picking up the NC Tag, we had to run into Fayetteville (yes, that was the only place within 100 miles that had the soccer cleats our son NEEDED!). We must have seen 50 bikes within the city limits and not one returned a wave. Nope, not one! Then as soon as we got north of the Goodyear plant on 401, everyone started waving again. Did I not get the memo?

They had a motorcyclist gunned down a few weeks ago. The same weekend, another motorcyclist was shot at in an unrelated incident. It seems to have been enough to make motorcyclist a little less friendly in town. A few of my friends who just got down range were mentioning it last week.

Oh. I should have known that. I didn't mean to be so flippant with something that serious.

No biggie. People in Fayetteville will always find a reason to shoot each other.

None of them are actual riders. They are also arrogant and pompus. Most meet up at at Burger King and I'm betting all they talk about is how one day they will ride farther than 10 miles. I think they should wish in one hand and shit in the other.

Riders being shot at in Fayetteville??? As if we didn't have enough to be worried about. Maybe the ADV salute isn't the best wave to give a stranger.

More like a guy who got shot who happened to be on a motorcycle.

I waved at you and Mrs Moose as you guys passed me, just before that wreck, but you didn't see my big white whale of an SUV.

I'd say this is a border tag on the ridge
Cool, not too far from the house. I tagged that place a couple years ago.
