Nah...those balls have no feel, too hard, like hitting a rock! Nice drop and good riding all in there and down on the G River too! Last time I went by there, I came in by the Eckerd foundation. I guess they still have a camp over that way.

Not been by Eckerd to my knowledge. Run the rock-like-golf-ball road (said it was a golf ball brand, not necessarily a good one ) west to east and east to west but not ventured off the main track much. Not had time to head down G river yet either. Remembered it today when I rolled past it today but was hot/tired/late. Plan on it soon though. Ridden most of the pavement along the NC/SC line on this end of the state, now looping back to check out the gravel.

Welcome to the madness....I mean game.

As a new player you must drop your first tag between I-77 and I-95.

I was thinking north of Hwy 88 in Ashe County near the Virginia line.

Damn, I was just there....

Well, a week or two ago. Even test rode a trike while I was there....

(Father in law was buying an SUV, and the lot had a trike, so he let me go pirate. Even had a fake DOT helmet he lent me..)

Welcome to the game.

NAH! You have to place the TAG within 30 minutes of Cumberland county.

Forgive the new guy if this place has already been tagged. Birth place of a confederate officer and the 37th and 43rd governor of NC. Accessible from a very well known Federal 2-lane highway. Turn on the curvy road named after a very large bovine.

This one is 204 miles away one way. North of Hwy 88 in Ashe County would have been better. A flat lander would have grabbed it there and we keep the game moving.

Rule #3:
#3 NO WHINING ABOUT IT BEING TOO FAR. If U think it is too far go get it and bring it back to your part of the state. Trust me I will.

Sorry got to work 60 hrs a week. Had to tag near home. Maybe one of the retired dudes can come get it.

That's funny, no really! I've rode 645 miles in a day just to keep a tag game moving.

That is a good drop and I don't think it has been tagged before.

I'm off Tuesday...hmmm. I can smell the salt air already!

This tag placement was just a wee bit too close to flat/hot for comfort, so I had to swing out that way straight from the jobsite (new Sierra Nevada Brewery in Mills River, hence the hardhat)

I guess I'm stumped..... did I do something wrong. I checked the rules and didn't see anything the said certain areas were off limits.

The above pic can be interpreted that you are calling me an a-hole.

Sorry if I made any mistakes.
