Its fine. The weather is turning, and spring weather is just around the corner. There is also going to be lots of folks in the area this weekend no matter the weather. MMM.

The tag is an easy find. It took a few minutes, but it is clearly visible on Google Earth.

I tossed the tag up to Marshall knowing that the nice weather could turn. It looks like it has gotten nasty today. However, with MMM happening this weekend, I can't see the tag lasting much longer. Just sayin...

I haven't been out there in a couple years. But might make it out this weekend. Looks like a soggy MMM on Sat . I will be at the house working Sat, maybe Sunday has a ride in store.

Edit: There may be some inmates grabbing this as I think they start Thursday over in Tellico.

It goes to the coast, it dies. It goes west of I-77 it dies. I see a pattern here, or is that just a prolonged winter?

So go on the tent space thread on ADV and have some friends you haven't met yet put you up as you trek out to get it. Make it fun, not a chore. Heck I thought about going out to some of those coastal spots but didn't get a chance. Maybe this year.

Who's got a nice soundproof room I can spend a couple nights in out that way? Just kidding, I have several choices out there.

Use to be as many active taggers in that region as there were here.
Hey I resemble that remark. Seems like I've been covered up with everything and anything except riding my bike. The current tag is probably a couple hours of riding there and back but I can't seem to be able to even manage that. Of course the 22 deg. temps and 2" of snow this morning doesn't help matters. I am so done with this winter. Bring on the heat!

This isn't tag related, but if anyone is interested in Aerostich gear (but doesn't have the time to ride up to Duluth) they're doing a popup store in Raleigh April 9th through 13th.

I think the rain put a damper on MMM, thus halting the tag. Maybe it will clear up tomorrow.
