I've been putting that in my signature block for a couple weeks now. It is my way of passive aggressively spamming everyone. It mush have helped some because they finally met their fundraising goal.

I've had the fortune of seeing some more footage along the way. The movie will be good, I can assure you of that. ;)

Boy oh boy did karma come back to bite me in the ass. I was headed up to ride some seasonal horse trails in VA today, even though it was snowing there, as they close to motorcycles tomorrow. So after working on the bike until late in the evening I got up at 6 am and drove almost 2 hours to meet Hoodis and another guy in Sparta, NC. I meet them at Hardee's, go in to grab a biscuit and come out to see my bike on the truck with no seat on it.

Even though I double checked it somehow the seat flew off either as I was driving 75mph down the interstate or when one of those 50mph wind gust almost blew my little S10 off the side of the mountain. I looked for it all he way home with no luck. Oh well, Seat Concepts here I come.

There was a little snow today. Sorry about the seat.

Thanks for rubbing it in with the pics. I've had actual nightmares about showing up for a ride without my helmet or one of my boots but never my seat.

I'm just glad the other guy showed up (sorry I forgot your name) otherwise you would have had to turn around and go home or ride alone and I would have felt even worse about it.

I thought that kind of stuff only happened to me. I'm sure this ran through your mind but I would have been tempted to make a seat out of rolled up bed foam and duct tape. Sorry you didn't find your seat. If it blew off while running down the highway, it could be 50' off the road in the woods. We once lost a big red Dancer kayak (over 10' long) when it blew off the truck into a hay field. We knew exactly where it came off and it still took us several hours to find it. It ended up being over 50' from the road and managed to plant itself deep in a thicket of tall grass. I literally tripped over it before finding it as it was virtually invisible to the eye under the grass.

Had something like that happen to me as well except I got to the lake with my bass boat and was missing one of my seats when I got there. Needless to say I wasn't able to find my seat either and I only went six miles. Sorry to hear you lost your seat. Did you ride anyway without the seat? I probably would have strapped my coat or something down just to get by.
