Think of it less as costing you money and more like investing in your future happiness and overall health. Less time doing maintenance and worrying about the bike is more time for trouble free riding. The tenere gets you there.

My leisure riding has been cut to a halt for the time being. Far too much to do at home right now. However, this tag is not too far from a whole mess of taggers. We can't depend on augiedog and Dracula to save us every time. One of those NCNC guys can get this tag in a couple hours worth of work, and get some great BBQ along the way.

I'd go for it if I could find enough time. It's pretty far from TN but I do have some relatives in Charlotte. Trouble is even unemployed I'm too busy right now.

Guess I would be closer. It's about 5 hours round trip for me if I use 74
But with my work schedule 2 hours is all I could spare.

I have to go to Raleigh Thursday evening to pick up some tires. Thats pushing my limit too.

I'm not up on how this is an "FU Tag", so I'll stay out of that.

I've done the ride on 24/27 several times and don't find it boring at all. Now riding around/through Charlotte doesn't look like fun, but certainly not a deal breaker. Like most everyone else, finding the time is the tough part.

Looks like the tag is ripe for a poach from SC riders!

I don't consider it a FU at all. I've drug several tags that direction before just to encourage people to ride the area. We have several taggers in the AO, but some of them haven't been too active lately. What happened to AppFan and 1911tyler? They are both pretty close to this one.
