What's the time limit on a tag again? If I had a friend who was interested in say tagging it would they be too late if they got it tomorrow?

There is no time limit for getting a tag. After he gets a tag he needs to place a new on the board no later than 24 hrs later.

No kidding!!!

You guys are killing me, it's such an easy one to find - I didn't go, 'cause I thought I won't be back in time (just like the last tag).

that's 'cause some of us had to finish an emulsion-tube-ictomy, headlight direct feed relay, air horn install, vapor speedo install and in the AM I gotta install the stock exhaust to replace the noisy "custom" one that was on the TDM. but it was a good day to work on a bike too

so what is the current tag?

the B&W pic?

the one from Durham? I didn't see a tag response pic, but there are some photobucket pics that are showing error jpgs.

Go back to page 1 and read the rules. U are confusing people by posting a pic, U have to come and get the tag, which is the flint arrowhead, and then when U post a pic of the arrowhead with your bike U can then post a new tag.

Here it is located in the heart of downtown Old Fort NC. I was trying to let some of you more eastern people get this tag since it was taken down the mountain, but I guess you don"t want it.
New tag coming soon!

Thank U Brew, I thought that that would have been gone the first day. I guess we are just going to have to drop one in the lap of the boys out east so they can play too . Seriously tho did U get to ride 80? Gas is pretty lean down in those parts too so I hope U filled up b-4 U left. BTW nice recreation it looks like U put your sidestand in the same spot I did.

RR,l I didn't get to ride 80 today, but that is really a great road.

Sticking with the history theme (for at least one post) here is the new tag and clue.

Asheville has long been known as a health retreat, beginning first with American Indians who set this region aside as a place to bring their sick and ailing. Dr. Z. P. Gruner opened the country's first private sanitarium in Asheville in 1875. In 1918, US Army General Hospital No. 19 opened in Asheville to serve the soldiers in the area who were training for duty for the First World War.
