Cool. The bikes blend in with the mural.

Where to next?

New Tag #?:

Exactly 50 miles west of the previous tag.

Yeah. @3 1/2 hours from me. With my schedule I would have to take a day off to go get it.

I'm just watching. It's nice to see the places it gets dropped. I read about the current drop. Learn new things just following this game.

New rear tire on the Strom and broke it in with a 300ish mile break in ride. Home-Troy-Albemarle-Lincolnton-Winston-Randleman-Asheboro-Home made for a nice ride.

Now where to drop the tag? Mountains, sea or somewhere in the middle?

Go East, young man! Ok, go to the middle, eastern part of the state. No mountains, no sea....

Just got home (again) from the food truck rodeo in Randleman, NC. The crawfish etouffee from King Creole was well worth the trip. https://www.visitnc.com/event/the-nc...e-championship

The new tag can be found at a veterans memorial park in a city that was once a stagecoach stop between Winston & Salem, NC and Galax, VA in the 1750's. It was later incorporated in 1885. The town had a famous native son with a very popular TV show.

Tag shot:

Hm. My Appalachian tag is languishing close to home. Maybe I need to get it some air and grab this. I could drop my tag so if someone gets bruced they'd have something.
