What was that hanging in the tree?

I cut it down and hid it at the new site.

I thought there was a physical tag and that was it.

Please refer to my first post in this thread about my inability to follow directions.

The yellow piece of paper?

I honestly don't know....I didn't put it there.

(it was literally a tag though, wasn't it?)

YOU got MY tag by POSTING a pic of your bike in the SAME PLACE that I posted a pic of my bike. That's how it works

Sooo now I would assume that to claim your TAG ..... one would have to post a pic of ones bike in front of all that graffiti........

THE PIC IS THE TAG

Does that work for you?

Yea the idea is to take a pic of the tag with the bike in it. But I believe that Norm has created our own little twist. Lets cont on with taking the tag (I assume that it was that yellow one hanging in Kennys first pic) and placing it at the tag. Like I said in post # 4. I knew Norm would be the first one causing trouble . So he done everything correctly the new tag is the pic with the graffti wall. But for the heck of it take the yellow tag with U and place it at the new Tag. Way to add to the game Norm .

My thought was: If the tag is prominetly visible, a non-participant may tamper with it. If you conceal the paper tag within sight of the photo "tag" you have the little piece of paper which over time, gets to travel the state.

This to me, is sort of a romantic notion. This little paper tag gets to see all the places across the State that we may not have the opportunity to do.

I was hoping to write something on the tag I pulled down at Buzzard's Roost, but it was impervious to ballpoint ink, so I notched it instead.

Well, go back to my earlier post for clues and if you can count to one dozen, you'll find the object.

As far as posting the picture online, you'll have to appeal to the Original Poster.

Find some kid to help you with the tech stuff.

The hidden objects retrieval is a different game called geocaching I think but over there the object doesn't move. Yet in this game several people could go to a tag in the same day and the first to post wins. So you haven't accounted for that with the little yellow paper since the person to grab it first might not be the person who wins the tag at the end of the day. Still it may work for a while, but generally the less complication the better. You don't want people arriving at a tag and worrying about tearing the place apart looking for a yellow paper that may not be there. You can leave your mark by spelling out ADV with rocks or twigs if available at the tag.
