Yes entry will be open Sunday morning. This ride is like a dual sport and a enduro combined.

Is it doable for a half-decent (never raced but ridden a decent amount of dirt) on a DRZ with knobbies? Is it crazy rocky?

I've never raced this enduro before but to answer the two previous posts, just ride it like a trail ride. Enter in either c class or sportsman/dual sport and ask for a later line. If you ride in the woods with whatever you currently have, then you should be able to do this. like I said before, treat it like a trail ride instead of a race. There's no time keeping so ride as fast or slow as you want. Take breaks if needed and move to the side when you hear someone approach you. Just have fun and don't worry about it. If you feel that it's above your ability, just bail out at the end of the section and head back to your truck. You'll never know if you can unless you try.

Yes this can be done on a DRZ. Enter the c class taking the c splits. Some sections will be challenging but you will have fun. We typically have most of the c riders finish. Will will have plenty of people out on the trail to help out where needed. This is some of the finest trail PA has to offer. We are not trying to beat people up on this event we only want to wear out the a and aa guys

Gundy and I survived the Moonshine Enduro...
we were the last guys on the trail row 68...had a great time...it was all fun for me until we hit the last section and it wore me out...i didnt have lot of muscle at that point...made a lot of stops and got to the end.
everyone was very supportive....great people and even better trails...

Another fun day in the woods getting chased down by Ryder and Rich Lafferty every section. They both were on the minute behind me. Ryder was a few minutes faster than his father. It's truly amazing how fast those guys ride.

That was my first rock enduro and third ever. Needless to say I got my butt kicked. But the trails were awesome and the crew was top notch.

Special thanks to the support crew that got me straightened out after a sloppy, tired, end of ride crash on the railroad tracks.

For the benefit of all, I confirmed yesterday that the DRZ is NOT the weapon of choice for enduros, especially with 3 gallons of gas in the tank and this guy at the controls!
