You'd also be surprised how much time it takes posting up all of them on the road if you've got some miles to cover and not a full summer's day of light as is the case right now.

Of course, with 3 and 4G some posting time could be saved but 'back in the day' we relied on poached interweb.

Here's hoping he grabs 6.

Well, I don't want to hold tags... especially if its on a weekend as there are others wanting to go tagging. If I got the tag, I got the tag and move on. If I set it and am able to post it enroute and the next rider grabs it, cool. Its a different tag at that point - at least that is how I see it.
For me most tagging work is done before I roll, especially since I need to hunt up wifi locations to either post or see if a tag down the line has been snagged... ipod only, no phone gizmo. And yeah, it is a lot of work. Also, setting enroute doesn't mean screen time, just getting the new tag all set for posting later that day. On the longer hauls I'll do them at the end of the day, especially if there is a mascot tag which takes a lot more time overall. But that's my parameters and not meant to be taken for anyone else's. Anyway one can do it is all good... we're out riding and riding our rides.

Two completely different games.

Not suggesting you hang onto them any longer than until you've collected them all - if you're going for multiple tags. Then upload the new tags at will.

It sounds like you like to collect them all first and then dispense. OK.

Nice! Took me a minute to see you hanging on the sign against the black hole of the bridge.
Where too?
( You need to clean that WR!)

New Tag

I did have a stalker today. He doesn't have to be in the tag, but he probably will be. He's got nothing else to do...
