It may look that way on google maps but it is not the case. You go straight on this road, you will pass the last house fairly close but it is clearly defined what is road and what is their driveway, i always go slow past there to be nice. After that you will pass a trail/road that veers of to the right, just stay straight.

think i'll need a full tank for this one, according to the vt dept of tourism 36 towns will celebrate the 250th year.

The town was originally chartered by New Hampshire Governor Benning Wentworth as Flamstead in 1754.

From one footbridge to another. The bridge that this replaced was just 2 telephone poles crossing the Barnard brook and they went to Connecticut during Irene. This beautiful footbridge supports the trail in the wilderness.

It was on Rt 12 north just above the village of Prosper Just a short distance north of the Woodstock line.
