Hey Peach,
Just caught back up. Back from Park City and feet of snow. Glad you're feeling better and up for the rides. Lot's of us out here depending on you to keep us off the winter anti-depressant routine.
If anyone does the shirts put me down for one and the missus will need one as well. It's a crazy bandwagon...so slap me.

Big Mike

Small world

Hi darth peach. On Tues 1/13/09 I looked at my maps and decided to ride from Sacramento to Petaluma via 80, 12, and 116. Now to explore some new roads to me. Bodega Rd to Petaluma Vally Ford Rd, S on Hwy 1 to Tomales Petaluma then S on Chilena Vally, W on Marshall Petaluma back to Hwy 1 then back to Petaluma on Pt Reyes Petaluma Rd and on home. A nice 260 mile afternoon.

That night I was checking ADVrider and came across your site covering that area. These roads are a nice change to the foothills east from my area. Very nice ride, maybe I'll cross your path there sometime.

Hi Darth Peach,

Enjoying reading your posts, once I can distract my Internet Security Software.

A whiff of tuna usually does the trick and keeps her paws off the keyboard. Keep 'em coming and hoping things are looking up for you.

All the best from sunny Turkey.

Cheers,

Dickyb

Just catching back up. Fun and enjoyable thread for sure. Peach, we move into a new house tomorrow and I will have a stable address for awhile. I will get you a jelly order together. I have been looking forward to trying that every since I first read about it.

Today......

I needed to take part of the day off and give my ankle a break ( meaning not standing on it for 10 hours straight ).

Marin BMW was kind enough to assist me with that........

Ladies and Gentlemen,

THE STELVIO......
in front of G. Lucas' estate. I rang the buzzer, but apparently he wasn't home..........

THE STEACH.........

It also has a 'glove compartment' right up front on the side.........
for the important things....lip gloss, cash, phone & camera.

In Nicasio......
This church was built in 1865 I believe +/- a few years.....
George Lucas does not live here.

Saw this sitting across the way........

This gives you a pretty good idea of the size of the bike...........
5'10.5" 135.

1200 cc, Didn't get the exact wt, but felt about 425lb +
Very maneuverable and nimble, but a bike seemingly happier at fwy speeds.

NOW ON TO THE 800 GS!!!
