Bear tracks......

I got too excited when I saw the bear and snapped away with him almost out of frame.

Dumbass.

Well, the Olympic State Park was very beautiful, but it was time to make tracks to Tacoma for an oil change...

It rained a lot this day and I was sleepy.
Ended up taking a cat nap in the rain at a rest stop with my head on the tank bag about half way.
My body was dragging, probably not wanting to go home.

Super slabbed it and got to my destination about 9 pm
This is one of 2 photos it appears I took that day.

At the Triumph shop in the morning in Tacoma where they took excellent care of me and my bike.
I'd go back just for the oil change!
Super nice folks there, coffee and good chat.

Well, as I'm looking through the tail end of my trip pics,
The last few days are very unspectacular.
I stayed in Phoenix, OR for 2 nights and caught up with old friends....

Took a little jog through their pear orchard .......

Nice pear....

Earned my keep for 2 days of lodging...........

Aired my gear for the final stretch and that was pretty much it.

I'm going to end this report with this picture....
I remember it was right here that I fell in love with BC.
My glass of wonderfully intoxicating views spilled over at this point
and I will always remember what a beautiful part of the world this Canada is.

Had an hour or so to kill before an appointment so I thought I'd ride up to the headlands and see what there is to see...

Was going to go to the top but road construction detoured me.....
