Here's my G/S. I coveted it for years, finally my bud sold it to me. I love it.

Very nice bike! From the looks of the concrete it looks like somebody parked a Harley there for a while.

Not mine and it's not really an 80 anymore as it's punched out to 1070 with 85bhp I believe. Saw it in Cologne at the bike show this week and thought I'd share it as it's such a sweet looking bike.

Again, maybe doesn't belong here, but a nice take by Wunderlich on the old 80 GS Basic.

don't fret that paralever, it'll self-destruct soon enough.

I do like the orange and silver one. The paint gives me an idea for the R100 tank I just picked up for mine.

HI Dave

she sure is pretty. Wouldn't mind having one of them myself.... but the garage space is getting pretty thin.

Front to rear, main things:
- WP USD forks 43mm with KTM wheel & Brembo
- HPN cockpit with Touratech IMO & electric roadbook thingy
- Magura bars
- R100GS tank (bashed up to gain steering angle with USD forks)
- Siebenrock 1000cc pots & pistons
- custom made stainless rear frame & seat
- extended swing arm
- HPN rear brake
- Öhlins rear shock

The shock mount in the picture was an experiment.
I had the Öhlins rebuilt later, so it is a bit longer and the extra bracket on the swingarm is gone now.

The angle looks to be to far out, it must be nearly horizontal when you are on the bike, so how can it be effective?
