Thumb Thank You!

Thanks for taking the time to update! I missed this the first time around, glad I caught it tonight. I keep thinking that I need an older bike for just such persuits although I was thinking about something considerably newer than the flathead.

Most excellent to be riding the old iron! Its amazing how well those 1930's bikes can do when well prepared. Smells are often times the most lasting impression of a motorcycle ride. Like the time I rode through the apple orchards of Eastern Washington.
Cheers

Thanks for checking out the ride.

Despite being 73 years old that flathead is a still a very capable machine. There are lots of old bikes out there just waiting to be enjoyed again.

Thats freaking fantastic!

Just think that ole bike was built before: the first full year of the existence of Social Security (funny that the bike still runs and functions as intended but SS flounders to provide future retirees with the *security* supposedly paid for over countless years of payroll deductions), the Japanese attacked us at Pearl Harbor, mankind developed a weapon that could some day end humanity, The Berlin Wall was constructed and disassembled about 30 years later, the Soviet Union collapsed, Sadam Hussien became the president of Iraq and also many years later was hanged for his crimes against the people of Iraq, Hank Aaron broke Babe Ruths home run record, humans walked on the moon, etccccccccccccccc.

I think ya get the idea. Thats just amazing that the ole girl is still dishing out the joy ie: miles!
