Eventhough Our currencey to AUD is about 5:1 its still an affordable conversion, seeing as a topend rebuild could cost almost double that.

The Ballards bash plate is well priced too.

i have force bash plate (comes up to where frame goes from 2 to 1) and rad guards and both are fantastic, i also have a clarke 13.5 lt tank, it fits straight on using std rad shrouds, the ims needs the yz rad shrouds

Anyone using the sparkplugs with the twin tips on them and notice any improvement/difference?

I didn't notice a power difference but the bike does start a lot quicker after it has been flooded from being dropped on its head.

Worth the few extra dollars in my opinion.

I just bought a Two Brothers full system off ebay, it is listed as a YZ450F 2006 full system. Now I figured that since the YZ450 went ally frame in 06 that the WR450F 2007 model with ally frame would fit same pipe? Well the guy that I bought it off now reckons it wont fit my WR450 and the local importer of Two Brothers says same thing, but when I got the Yamaha dealer to check his parts fiche, it says that the header and pipe on a 06 YZ and an 07 WR are the same parts?? Anyone had any experience with this, and ca give me some advice?
I dont know if I can get my money back and they wont exchange for a 07 WR package?

Thanks for that SB, I just heard back from the guy and he has said he will refund the money.. I hope he does... Anyone got an after market pipe for a wr450f 2007 that they want to sell?

G'day Rhino

My 07 WR450F has a GTYR 06 YZ450F full system on it and it fits no worries.

Here's a pic of the stock systems. The top is the 06 YZ and the bottom is the 07 WR.
The YZ has a larger diameter header and the power bomb thingy, the muffler is longer but lighter. All the mounting points are in the same position.

I'm 99.9% sure that the stock YZ system will bolt straight onto the WR.

I haven't seen the Two Bros gear but I would think that it's the same.

The 06 YZ and the 07 WR are both Alu framed. They will work.

the steel frame vs alu frame wont.

Hi Tony and Stevho, I checked out the two brothers web site and the 06 yz450 pipe has a different part number to the 07+ yz450 pipe and different again to the wr450 07+
The local importer said the 06's are discontinued and thats why I got it cheap and he reckons it wont fit and refused to sell me the parts to make it work... he was a jerk.
So it all got too hard and instead of supporting the local guys (who were all very unhelpful surprise surprise!!! NOT) I will take my business to the good ol US of A.
Only thing I can think is that the two brothers pipe did something weird on the 06 model that they later corrected?? Farked if I know??

Thanks for the advice though and I think in general you guys are almost certainly right, I just happened to choose a difficult brand of exhaust!

Im pondering on fitting a Leo Vince slip on to my WR- I can get it for next to nothing.

Any opinions?

LV's are really nice, a lot of guys fit them to TE610's and love them. They seem to be a top quality made pipe. Is there only one of these for 'next to nothing'?

Lol yeah, as I am in South Africa, it might be cheaper to look locally.

If I have to convert it to AU $ it would be around $300
