Verizon seems to work well for me given all the options available. I have a tracfone that uses AT&T's towers for when I go to WV. If you frequent 33 there isn't any Verizon signal between Harrisonburg and Canaan Valley even in Franklin or Seneca Rocks.

You're right didn't mean to mislead...nothing is good at Seneca Rocks except the pizza, beer, and views!

Thinking about going to South Pedlar tomorrow. Anyone been out there recently, or have any idea if it's going to be a mud bath?

Went to South Pedlar yesterday. Mud wasn't too bad. Slick in some corners. Overall pretty good.

Cool! I haven't been this season but I suspected it would be a mess. Glad you had fun.

DWR is still washed out between Taylors Gap and the dump. The second picture is my yard Friday where the creek lefts it's bed and came through.

If anyone can use a lightly used foam and vinyl from an '09 DRZs, clean, no tears, free to good home.

Moto Movie night is back: Thurs 8/8

After a little summer break in July Moto Movie night is back at the Black Market Moto Saloon. It will be Thursday August 8th, we'll start the main show a bit before sunset.

What we will be watching is still to be determined. We are working on moving the screen and projector over to the stage and revamping the sound system and what we decide to watch depends on how the move goes.

Hope to see you out there.

Want to learn how to change a tire

Hey all, I'm looking to save a little money on tires, specifically the labor they charge for having them installed. When Virginia Power Motorsports would do them for $20 (on the bike) it was a no-brainer, but at the rate I go through tires, and the $60 they want to charge now, I'm ready to try it myself.

Never changed a tire on a motorcycle, but I understand the basic principles (changed many a bicycle tire). What I'm looking for is someone that already has all the tools necessary to do the job. I'll bring my KLR, and my tire to your house (or you come to mine) and you let me use your tools and guide me through the process.

I want to do all the work, and I want to be able to do it on my own next time, assuming it's not too much of a pain in the ass. I just want you to supervise, assuming you've done it before and can stop me before I screw anything up.

Also planning to install a new chain, so maybe we could do this all at the same time. Hoping to do this sometime in the next several weeks, I'll be ordering my tire and chain this week.

I'll order a pizza and supply the tasty beverage of your choice for anyone willing to help this maintenance newby out.

Thanks in advance to all of you that flood this thread with offers!
