I wish I would have known I needed new sprockets before today, but oh well, I'll them ordered this week, and installed before I ride very much further.

Also, thanks VABuckaroo for the Heidenau recommendation, did great its first 130 miles on pavement, gravel, and dirt/mud.

Also, the purchase from Rocky Mount http://www.rockymountainatvmc.com/ was a great experience, I recommend them, good service, fast shipping, easily trackable, better than expected.

Overall a great day,
Thanks again.

J.R.
No problem JR, happy to help out. Give me (us?) a shout when you get the sprockets in if you want a hand replacing them, or just someone to watch you & drink beer while you do the work!

I have a lightly used set of Oilhead-sized Heidenaus here if anyone is interested.

Anyone familiar with Horseshoe Flats Campground in Scottsville? I just found it on the map and thinking about trying it out on an overnight trip soon.
Thanks.

I'll ask a buddy of mine that's near there.

No word Kevin. I've only been by it a couple hundred times. Looks nice enough and I know they take dogs and hear they're friendly. Hot water showers. Only 25 sites I think.

If I hear back from my other buddy I'll let you know.

Thanks, we're going to the RTE on the 14th and might ride down there afterwards and camp for the night.

Actually heard back from another guy who says his friends stay there and really like it. Friendly place, he says. Heresay, but there you go.

If it sucks, you can camp in my yard.

September Movie night at the Moto saloon is this thursday.

We are going to try something a bit different and screen an old and very entertaining but not particularly classic motorcycle movie from the 60's

Hells Angels on Wheels Starring Jack Nicholson will start shortly after 8pm

Hope to see you out there.

Need to borrow trailer for a day

I have to move a treadmill climbing wall (think vertical treadmill) across town and dont have a trailer big enought to move it.

It has a 7'x7' footprint and weighs about 1000lbs. A flatbed or car carier would be best. I have a 1-7/8 and 2" ball.

If anyone has a trailer or flatbed truck with lift gate they would be willing to lend out I would certenly appreciate it. Other problem is I need it this Wednesday.

that's a fantastic idea! . I'd be mighty tempted to join you if I weren't backed up with work at the moment.
