New Editions

Picked up a couple of cool old bikes this weekend.

75 Husky 360 WR with CR motor. Has Suede topped seat and Works Performance shocks.

76-78 Bultaco Frontera 250

Going to restore them back to the pristine steeds they once were.
Cool having these 4 Euro girls in the garage!

That is cool, vabuckaroo. I love my Husky but would love to have a vintage one to rehab. Let us know if you post a progress thread in the "old's cool"
or "some assembly required" forums here on adv...I know I'll subscribe.

Also- as I'm sure you know- Cafe Husky is a great forum...a real well spout of Husky knowledge. They have a vintage section (discussion, technical and wrenching):

Xt225

Hey guys - going to sell the little XT225. If you know anyone who wants to test it out or come get it - $2000. It's in near perfect condition - less than 100 miles on it!

Check it out in the flea market

I told a friend about your xt and sent him a picture from your ad. I may need your number later...see how interested he is first. That's one problem with adv flea market, you can give someone the link but they can't see it without being a member. He's looking for a bike for his wife.

He was looking for a honda 230 thinking the xt's were too tall. I explained to him it is not a jacked up xt350 but something shorter like the 230. He seems interested. I hope he gets it so I can snag it for my daughter in 3 years. She rides a crf100 now but is only 13.

Oh yeah - this is not too tall at all. It sits similar to the DR I use to have and would be the perfect bike for someone shorter.

Went out for a ride Saturday...a couple of things:

1.) Who has the nice TE610 I saw parked near Fellini's downtown? It was around 8 that evening. Very nice bike- precisely what I'd been lusting for when I bought my 630. Had I found a decent 610 of decent mileage back then I'd have leapt on it in a heartbeat.

2.) At around 4:15 that afternoon- by Spudnuts- I passed a member of the Orange crew- I was heading into Belmont and you were headed the other way. Just wanted to say yes, you're right- thanks for the ATGATT gesture. Although there's no good defense I was just tooling from one side of d'town to the other to see a bud...had been in gear all day w/ a low grade fever (da*n respiratory infection) so for that last jaunt had shed some gear. Not smart, I know, but I gotta be me.

Hope others got out to enjoy the nice weather.
