I'm riding up to DC tomorrow...
anyone have suggested routes or roads to avoid? Right now I'm taking 29n to 28 to 50. And believe me, I'd avoid 29 if i could!

I've never ridden it, but--taking Rt 20 north to Orange, and then 15 north to Culpeper, would at least avoid some of the worst of 29, and only leave you with a bit of 29 before 28. Not that 28 is ideal on a busy day, but I guess you don't want to end up on I-66 on a 250....
Or, if you have time, from Orange instead of 15 you could take 615 (Rapidan Road) to 522 north to 3 west to 29 in Culpeper. 615 is a nice route, but I don't know about 522. --scott

Dinner - I would be interested in meeting for a dinner/ride somewhere near C-ville. With the days getting shorter and sunset before 6:30, the sooner the better.
Mathias - lets go for a ride, check out the ninja250 site. Goldfinch from Lexington has a yellow 06', we should get a group shot :) Check out Mike's Touring Windscreen

Hey guys - just got back from 2 weeks in Spain and Portugal - very happy to see (feel?) that it's still warm in Cville!
I guess Hardy is on the TAT somewhere freezing his ass off on that KTM - anyone hear from him yet? If anyone wants to ride/meet/get a bite to eat, gimme a shout

Friday evening
I'm taking a ride up to D.C. after work today if anyone is heading that direction looking for some company.
I head up there to see the lady friend about every other weekend, so the offer is almost always on the table. Just stinks that now it is dark around Madison/ Culpepper. also, I work at Gropen on Market, so meeting at Belmont BBQ should be a tradition! |

Jinx
Yep, I'm about a 3 wood away from jinx. I've been getting a little addicted to the hot sauce at Belmont though.
Another Cville BBQ meetup locale though. |

We usually do 1PM.
Guy's I'm sorry to say I won't be able to make it unless we switch this to friday 2PM. :( Got to do a quick 2 day run up to NYC. We'll have to do it again soon. Gas I wanted to hear some of your Europe stories. I heard from Hardy, he's doing good out on the trail. Someone who is actually going confirm a time so that the lurkers and last minute people know when to come if you are still going out to lunch tomorrow. |
