It was!
I thought I was screwed when I came around the bend and saw that tree across the road as I did NOT want to go back the way I came. Once thru Devils Ditch in the van was enough!

C'ville dudes & duddets. Any one of you have a Ducati Multistrada? or maybe have had one in the past (Ted)? If so please send me a PM, I'd like to bend your ear some. Thanks.

Little windy for me today. Next time you might say where you are or something a little more specific.

Welcome to the general vicinity!

IN! I seem to remember there is a local guy who actually raced from Paris to Dakar...perhaps he could show up as well?

The Black Market Moto Saloon has agreed to screen a documentary on the 6th running of the Paris Dakar Rally next Wednesday (Jan 23) starting at 8pm.

Come on out enjoy some good food, beer and a very entertaining look back at the history of this amazing race.

This was also the first year that Porsche raced (and won) with modified 911s. The car that would later become the groundbreaking 959.

The film was produced in the 80s so don't get your hopes up for something remastered in HD but it is an entertaining hour and a half of some classic race footage with 80s British narration. What better backdrop for good food, friends and beer.

I hear he's getting kind of old, but maybe he'll come out of his shell and have a story to tell.

Maybe he has a photo or two?

SRG - no Multistrada's for me, just an ST2. I've never ridden a Multi either, my son has though and he liked it a lot.

That would be awesome. Sexyboots and I are trying to line up someone to watch our grandson so we come hang out.

Sexyboots and I had a great time. Couldn't hear much of it, but it was cool seeing the old bikes and 4x4s. I could bring my Erzberg DVD one night if folks were interested. It would by cool to have this as a monthly thing.
Hell, we could even have a BMMS thread with menu and entertainment weekly!!!
