Thanks to all for braving the cold Great to see again/meet you all. by my (admitedly beer filtered) count we had 21 people out.

I talked to Matteus (BMMS owner type guy) last night when things were wrapping up and he is stoked on having it be a monthly thing. He is looking at the restaurant calendar to see when it will fit well, but first Wednesdays of the month is the initial thought.

I think the sound was mostly an issue of a crappy VHS rip. When it was turned up louder it just got more garbled and mumbly. I don't think we would have the same issue with a DVD or other quality media.

We got the go ahead for a monthly event at Black Market. We are all set for the first Wednesday of each month. Did the 8pm movie start time work well enough that we should stick with that. The thought being that some can come for dinner before, some can do dinner at home then come to the movie and also that it would be over early enough for people having kids or early work the next day and of course others can stay late.

A few people mentioned Erzberg I'm game for that on Wednesday February 6.

I had a good time! I plan my days in the mornings usually, but if each morning on the first Wednesday of each month I see I am free, I will be there again!

I bought my first powered two wheeler from Jarman's - a Rupp minibike w/ 2 1/2 hp Tecumseh engine and no suspension - in 1967.

Damn, you're old! I had one of those. Blew it up - ran it out of oil IIFRC. The beginning of a beautiful relationship with two wheeled excitement though.

My Rupp represented the entire summer's wages from my first job, gassing golf carts (yes, they ran on gas then - they were Harley Davidson's too), cleaning golf clubs, picking up range balls at Keswick. The assistant golf pro's son had a 100cc Bridgestone that we rode when we weren't busy. That Bridgestone taught me that bikes with rapidly deflating tires will make you fall down . Rupp taught me why they put governor's on engines (broken camshaft - fast though for a minibike) and how those engines come apart to get fixed.
