Ive changed the 14t counter to a 15 for ds and it makes the world of a diff

70mph seems like an idle, wack her and she'll run to 100mph in a heartbeat.

3.3L Acerbis Tank

3.3L Acerbis fits perfectly on my '08 WR450F. No Problems whatsoever! I get about 120 miles out of full tank.

I'm curious too .......
I use a 12, 13 or 14 up front with a 52 on the back, all with a 114 link chain. Can a 15 even fit up front?
I'm on an 03'WR250F btw ......

Stock is 14-50. I think that the bike feels way to stressed at 70mph.

I decided to give a 15 front a try. Yes they said it does not fit and it looks like it too, but it does.

I have a mate who runs a 15-40 on his motard. the 450 has more then enough power for it.

with my current 15-50 setup my biggest concern was that id loose low end grunt. not a problem , still lifts the front off the throttle in the 1st 4 gears.

I might even go to a 15-46

On the 250F's, the stock counter-shaft sprocket is 13T. I just put a 12T on to go ride the Gifford Pinchot national forrest and it's awesome for tight, technical singletrack. But I bought a Hammerhead case saver that clear a 14T for DS rides because, hey, it's plated.

hmm, that does look a little bigger. Ours are 55/65W. What are yours? Same but in a larger housing? Take some close-up pics for us. I'm curious.
