Will be down for a visit

We have been looking for a place for a Christmas vacation ride and it looks like south Mississippi. I used to live in New Orleans and remember the piney woods Desoto. We have unplated trails bikes and it looks like the trails should be ok?? May also head to Central Louisiana and ride Kitcachi(sp?) NF

Laurel/Jones County is my home area. I'm heading that way on Saturday. However, I'll be riding Delta instead of the 1150GS

Almost looks a northern chainsaw artist has been to Bilioxi post-Katrina.

I'll try to run over soon and get some pics, these were stolen from a google search.

Hey, I'm in the NOLA area, St Charles Parish. I'm offshore at work right now but may be up for a nice ride the first couple of weeks of January, weather permitting, got no meat on these bones and get cold real easy. Besides, I'm fairly new at this and don't exactly have much gear just yet.

I'm not alone in southern MS?

I folks, I'm in Pass Christian, MS, work at Stennis, and would love some riding company. I put together a wonderful sidecar rig that needs some miles on the clock!

Welcome to ADV, CeSalt! You're not the only one around nor the only rider that works at Stennis. Hopefully one day we can all get together and meet up. My vote is for Ramsey Springs for lunch, or Cypress Creek in Desoto for a camp. See ya around.

BTW, rode up around Progress and Leaf on Tuesday, saw a couple a deer and turkey right before the trails turned to slop in the rain. good times
