Thanks for the welcome! I'm set up for street riding and so have to forego our parks trails. My quest is to locate all of our cool back roads and interesting stops along the way. Extra points for good food that's not part of a chain!

Got my valves done, when and where? I've only got a couple of hours to play with.

yeah, been crazy busy and working long, weird hours. Many days I haven't ridden because I was too tired to be safe on a scoot... just didn't feel as sharp as I needed to be.

You still need to stick your head in and meet me... Rm. 233

Tell me about it....I head home every night at around 2 AM. As if the deer weren't enough to keep you on your toes, every other animal in the world thinks the road around here is a playground at night. I'll try to stop by sometime soon, Jay right?

Yep, Jay.

I almost got hit in the head by an owl or hawk out here one night around midnight. Just caught it in the headlight and ducked...

It was diving to catch something. Quite the wild kingdom out here.
There are a couple of stories about a roaming cougar out here too.

Our secretary has warned us of the infamous cougars. I'll just say that I've lived in Mississippi my whole life and I'll believe it when I see it. Somebody needs to produce a body before I buy into that.

Lifelong resident here...

My wife and I have both seen a big cat of some sort in Northern Hancock county, near Leetown. About 4 years ago, she watched it from her deer stand and I had one run away from me down one of our farm roads when I was in the truck. They are out there!

The wild hogs scare me much worse than the cats though.

I don't doubt that people see stuff out there. I've seen some weird looking animals, but I myself won't say what any of them are unless I can prove it. I'm not really a pessimist, but I just don't see how nobody has found any remains.
