I live in Petal and I know there is a guy who drives a yamaha enduro but looks like he never takes it offroad so i never bother asking him to be my trail buddy but does anyone know who drives the KLR650? I noticed it parked under a car port and looks like they may take it offroad but i'm not the type to just show up and ask a question such as that to someone at home only if their out and about. Eh...summer is about here and its been great weather so i been riding my 650L pretty hard and looking for trail buddies but only casual riders or harley guys been out and about or crotch rockets.

I felt the same as you a year ago. But there are Dual Sport riders, and when you find them, they are usually good people.
Check out this link it may be helpful. If you want to join Juice the owner will need a referal, before he will allow you to join. I have personally met him, he does this to keep down Spammers, and other junk. But he is one cool guy with a bunch of cool members. I met many of them at one of their events about a month ago. They are members here as well. Check it out!

I almost forgot, I had the DRZ down in S. MS a few weeks back. Only had time to make a short ride one morning up to the DeSoto NF.

Nothing like running up on a bunch of these fellers. Yes, they were occupied.

Had to get a pic of this one.

Made a point to ride this road for Nanohiccup:

Pre-Game Ride

A few pictures from my ride yesterday morning. I went out for a few hours before going over to a friends house for the LSU/Tennessee game.

Near Old River Rd & Montcliff Dr.

Cotton fields near State Line Rd & Chester Cunningham Rd

Near State Line Rd & Tanner Williams Rd

Near Hwy 613 & Cooks Corner Rd

All roads seem to lead back to the Benndale Super Store (corner of Hwy 26 & Hwy 57). This place has some great food and always plenty of motorcyclists to BS with.

Near Hwy 26 & Deep Creek Rd

Some old house on New Zion Rd

Doesn't it. I finally got a GPS, so I've been doing a lot more exploring lately.
