Thank you - it was a pleasure! (Not as much as the ride itself, but still a blast!)

Ben, it was a great pleasure to read this report, as well as meet the author. Hope to meet up with you again some day. If you're ever in my neck of the woods, you have a place to stay. (free)

Thank you, Mac, that means a lot. It was a great pleasure to meet you too and I appreciate the time you put in reading this RR. I will indeed take you up on the offer of a place to stay if I ever find myself out your way, and you know the same thing goes for you too if you're ever out mine. Don't think I'll be in YK that much longer, kinda planning on moving to Victoria in the spring so look me up if you're ever on Vancuver Island. Much better weather! Take it easy, bud...

What a coincidence. My wife and I just discussed moving to Victoria this morning. I wonder what the job situation for truck drivers is like down there

Dunno, that's not what I was planning on doing there, but I know a guy on this site who drives a rig for a living in Victoria. Maybe we'll get to ride together one of these days....

We met the German as well. We were about 100 kms from Klondike River Crossing (the gas station you forgot where it was ) on our way south from Inuvik when we met him.

His Unimog was stopped , hood up, leather pants on (sadly no wife) I asked if he needed some help.

He told me his truck was broken and only he could fix it so offered to call him a tow truck on our sat phone, he dismissed us and bade us on our way.

Unusual fellow. BTW we chatted at D2D.

Nice ride report and better photos than I took

And thanks to all of you for following along.
Cheers.

Was great following your report Sq...we still haven't sorted through our trip pictures, so I can appreciate the amount of work that went into composing and posting.

See you in Dawson next June!

Well look who decided to join in at last! Glad you read the report, hotr, and I hope I'll be at D2D next year, but it ain't looking that likely. Gonna call in on you guys when I come through in April or May, though, so definitely see you then. Cheers!

Excellent Andy...expecting to see you on the Enfield!

We may go to Rupert, then up on the ferry, may be able to meet you somewhere up in your neck of the woods.

Where the hell is Kodiak?
