Ah yes, shoes at work! That and the fact that the key to my office is on the car key ring.

Forgetting those two things seems almost unavoidable a couple times a year. Sure sign of spring.

We have lost some battles to DOOM in the past 5 months, but I say we have won the war with todays victory!

Felt great to ride in on 2wheels today

I somehow managed to bring everything I need.

The next step is to remember the helmet when I walk to the ramp.

Good ride in. Little chilly, little sandy but the sky started brightening soon after departure and no evasive maneuvers where needed for cage or forest rat.

I agree, victory.

I knew I would forget something today.

I forgot the bike.

Too used to stumbling into the garage and getting in the truck. Or too lazy. Probably that, actually.

Not to worry. I'll take a bike tomorrow.

I had a long debate myself.

No doubt commuting by bike isn't quite as easy.
As the routine develops throughout the year it gets easier though.

And it's worth it.
Right?

Actually, it really is. As soon as I break out of the winter routine and make the effort to gear up one time, after that it is easy, and as it gets lighter in the mornings, it becomes even more fabulous. I have a nice back road commute for the bike, which makes my work day much more pleasant.

I was just too fackin' lazy today.

I don't relate riding to work as a good thing. Plus I have a uniform I have to wear and steel toed boots. Save it for the weekends.

Unless my truck is down for repairs.

Rode down south yesterday. Very nice in the afternoon!

I wish I could find a legal way to ride in the dirt the whole way in... that'd be fine.

This time of year it's hard to find a road that's not mostly dirt.

True. Very sandy out.

So nice to ride yesterday without having to plug in. Good times ahead. I'm getting grand ideas for rides now, all of which I shall likely ignore as we get into the season.

Plans to commute to work in the next few days are squashed by too many places to be that are work related throughout the afternoons. Perhaps Thursday if the rain holds off.
