Dammit. Never mind Gravy, perhaps another time. Tell you what, the next time I'll even make sure there's Black Pudding. Yum!

Got a copy of Motorcycle Consumer News in the mail today, which was a nice surprise because I haven't subscribed to it.

Ah - a cunning marketing ploy. Send out a copy of the magazine, and entice subscribers that way.
How is it? I just took out a cheapo subscription to that magazine. Today, I ordered a bunch of jen-you-wine Triumph accessories for the new motorsickle. Not Triumph branded clothing mind, because a) that would be sad and b) they only make that shit to fit the beautiful people in the catalogs, not real life fat bastards such as myself.

Speaking of ordering stuff, I am putting in an order at Motorcycle Superstore for KLR tyres and other assorted bits.
On another note, Hey Kev, can I get this replaced under warranty? looks defective to me. ![]()

After seeing Gravy post about pinewood derbys, I got to thinking we could do an ADV version. Maybe it would take the form of a great egg race.....
Dunno. It could potentially be quite fun. Or, we could just get together and drink beer. ![]() A great egg race by the way, is a competition where teams have to construct a vehicle to carry an egg a set distance, without breaking it. Or devise a cunning contraption of some sort, usually out of an array of improbable materials. Bollocks.

Look at the Michelin T63s. About half the price of the TKCs and the rear one on my FGS is holding up well--TAT Tested! My only complaint--they're much louder then the TKCs.

I figured I could use the money saved to buy other bits, such as this: This self-inflating, water-resistant seat cushion allows you to sit on a cushion of air instead of roots, rocks and cold ground. Its unique valve system enables you to inflate, adjust, or deflate the Bunsaver by simply turning the valve. Equipped with an elastic strap and adjustable snap hook for easy access while sitting or walking. Weighs 8 oz the poor mans airhawk, 12.99 at Joes Sporting Goods. which just happens to be across 36 from Bobs Cycle Supply. I call that fate, or serendipity, or a damn fine coincidence.
