If you like awesome cars that people acutally DRIVE to the show check out www.automotorplex.com tomorrow morning. I never miss it. All the fun is based on if the cops show up or not.

Went for a ride around lake Wobegon country today.

For those in the area..... Hwy 23 bypass around Paynesville is not open yet. County Rd 33 crosses 23 and there is a stop sign there. However, 23 is closed and if no one is around and one were to run the stop sign from the south, the Hwy 23 lanes are like ramps and are canted enough to get great air.

I would imagine it would be like that, anyways.

I went and got some Rustic Roads. Yesterday was farking hot, I saw 104 degrees on one bank sign. I understand that a couple of people in Wi died from heat stroke. I survived by keeping the camelbak full of ice water, while also attempting to drain it. Wish I'd worn my watercooled vest. Ended up staying in a hotel in Sparta rather than camping, because I had a desire for A/C at that point.

Then got a few more RRs today. Not as many as I originally planned, but that's OK. It was 95 degrees in southern Wi, so I wrapped it up and made a liesurely route home. Much fun. I have to go back to south west portion of Wi again to finish up Rustic Roads, which is fine by me because it's gorgeous there.

The riding was so nice today, I think I will do it again tomorrow. Only this time not with parents...let's just say they won't be setting any land speed records on that Spyder.

Let me know which ones you didn't get. Wouldn't mind running down there to grab the ones I don't have.

Well, I had planned to get, but ended up not getting 70, 99, 75, 66, 94. Not too far away are 90 and 27. These will likely form the basis of another expedition. Then there are a few around Madison that are not out of reach. Keep that line of reasoning up and pretty soon you are doing the ones around Milwaukee too.

But this weekend I picked up 9 rustic roads, so not a bad haul really. 14, 102, 50, 55, 49, 69, 110, 21 and 81.

81 is my favourite so far, because it's on

Nice!

Good job Klay. I think I'm going to need a few minutes alone now.
