Anyone in the Ogilvie area care to ride up Hwy 47 and tell me if there is an old Skidoo snowmobile at the end of a driveway with a free sign on it? I'll owe ya a beer or 6.

Holy CRAP!

I just put a set of Anakee 2's on the Tiger. I only did it because Dennis Kirk was out of stock of the Bridgestone Battlewings I usually use - and those only because they were on the bike as stock.

Fark - these things totally transformed the bike. It's like riding on air or summat. Floating if you will, lifted and guided by forces ethereal.

Well, they're very good anyway.

Might be able to tomorrow - can't tonight. Can't promise anything tomorrow either, but if timing works out, I'll report back.

EDIT: Hang on a bloody minute, you goofball. I expected there to be an address in the ad. OK, ya got me.

A 70's John Deere lawnmower that won't start though - wow - this is some quality shit he's got up for grabs.

Don't be gettin' all metaphorical on us, OK?

No I hadn't been drinking, for a change. I was simply WELL PLEASED with these Anakees. And additional testing this morning confirms my WELL PLEASEDNESS. Amazing what a change of tyres can do. I used to have a slight handlebar wobble at certain speeds, it is completely gone now. The bike just feels a lot smoother, and very well planted. Good stuff really. The Anakees are more expensive than the Bridgestones, by a significant amount - but they are so much nicer.

Hap hap happy!

Have a set on the GS. I like them better in the corners than the tourance. No different that I can tell on gravel as both are surprisingly predictable. Front feels a little "pushy" in deep sand. Overall pleased with them as well.

Yea I know. No phone #, no email, and no address other than on Hwy 47. But I suspect one would notice if you saw all this shit at the end of a driveway with a free sign on it. You can keep the mower, I'm just interested in the sled

You mean yer ACTUALLY interested in the sled?

I thought you were mucking about.

I'm going to have to let you down though - I won't have time to head up to Ogilvie this evening. Have to get shit together for the weekend.

I can, however, swing down 47 on sunday and see if it's still there.

You know, you can take that body work and a pair of old suspenders, and disguise yourself so you look just like one of them. Find a crowd of them milling around outside a country tavern some bitter cold Sunday in January. Be sure to bring along your Saiga 12 ga. semi, and a couple of 30 round mags. Douse yourself in Old Style to mask your scent. You ought to be able to walk right into the middle of the herd, and they won't suspect a thing, until it's too late.

Yea I'm a bit of a sled nut, I have a bunch of old Ski-doos. I may run up there if I have the time. Thanks for considering it!
