I've got a steamer trunk full of 50s vintage Lionel trains, track, etc. that I am looking to get rid of but would like to get a sense of what it might be worth.

And my personal favorite, the Rocket Car! I've got the car, the rocket and the gantry, but haven't found the launcher. Used to launch that rocket and it would punch through the fiberglass insulation in our unfinished attic.

Progress came in the form of finishing the upstairs with bedrooms and a bathroom, but no room for trains. Kind of like old motorcycles, these train "where running when they were put away".

That's some cool stuff, but I have no idea of the value. You could search on ebay for some comparable items.

Suggest either bumping this thread or sending a PM to Joe (curbjumper). He's a great guy, I've stayed at his place and ridden his bikes and whatnot when passing thru Edmonton. Tell him I sent ya.

Them things are a ton of fun. Bimble and Lady Godiva gave my boys a boat load of the smaller scale stuff. We set up a little display for Christmas and all the kids had a blast watching them go round and round.

I've got some of the bigger stuff too but I just don't have the room to leave it set up.
