If you wish to change them, yes. Otherwise I wouldn't worry. Are they leaking? I'd be inclined to leave them if not. But it's up to you, it is not a difficult job.

EDIT: Get OEM ones. Do NOT get the brand that are oh-so-hilariously called "leakproof".

I just figured at 44k miles and six years old it'd be cheap insurance while I have it apart, but I don't really know anything about motorcycles.

recent acquisitions, The Fetus can be dangerous, but almost all these were out of the sale bin, some Vinyl replacement, some new.

Well, we can certainly do that. They could indeed leak at any time. Make sure you slacken off the top caps like I told you, before removing the forks.

EDIT: And make sure you slacken off the top yoke clamps before attempting to slacken off the top cap.

If I was to know when the shop shenanigans are a happenin thing, I could probably put a little somethin, somethin on the smoker for after everything is put back together.

That is predicated on the assumption that everything gets put back together. I was going to get drunk half way through and then abandon the project.

However...........now that there is smoked meat at stake.

And don't forget fork oil.

Maybe I'll make a fork oil level device. I've been meaning to make one of those.

But busy as ever... The new bike is a real distraction. I should be planning on riding the Iron Butt Rally on my trusty Versys... but instead I keep having to ride the Triumph around... you know so it doesn't collect dust. But I did have to put the Electric grips on... was in the low 50's this weekend... so it was a might chilly

Hope all is well!
Beautiful new Tiger. How are you dealing with the seat height? Kind of surprised you went with something so big but I bet you're loving it. Where are you in CA?

The springs are supposed to come with the appropriate oil from Hyperpro. 15wt, I believe.

Did you ever get a tire balancing toy?
