Heads up(for those who may care)! Pauly Shore was in Kellogg, MN filming a documentary this weekend(going to Eau Claire). A friend was at Kellogg's Kwik Trip and Pauly came in looking for something healthy to eat(film crew following him). Friend had to sign a release form. Block buster on the way!!

What I did today...

Long time listener, first time caller....

All this talk of riding, combined with not horrible temps and a freshly plated wr450 means my pops and I took our bikes our for spin today.

I found a nice lake to have some fun on and tip my bike over (twice).

Anyway hope to catch up with yall this year!

Had my first down of the season

Left my buddies and all the water turned to ice and ate it in a parking lot at 15 mph... The KLR is going to make it, although it bears a new scratch or two, the horror!!!

You try and tell them, but do they listen?

Kids today.

The measure of a successful riding year is not the maximum number of faceplants.

Welcome MotoChanik!

Get me a beer and an agg and bacon sammich.

These kids grew up watching Nitro Circus and shit.

A wise man once told me (Powers or Streeter not sure which one): The more times you crash the more likely you are to get injured. Seems simple but sooooo true. Even a light tip over, if you land the wrong way, can end a season.

Getting hurt now that I'm close to that 40 mark takes on a whole new meaning.

It used to mean that I'd get a few days of rest. Now it means months of pain

God damn I'm getting to be an old fuddy

Welcome, n00b. Now get on that beer. You got 8 hours 'til my shift ends.

Of course if they took our advice who would we have to laugh at?

Throttle on boys!

True dat.

It is a glorious morning this morning.

But beware ice at the roadside from the melt off!

And also pheasants and other suicidal kritters.

I sometimes enjoy falling off the bike. It makes me realize that I have a whole lot more to learn. I stay off the roads for the most part, that way the cages behind me don't run me over!

It also amazes me how fast it can happen. When riding the mountain bike I know when I am going to fall down even before it happens, on the DRZ it surprises me every time!

Pro Tip: mud is generally soft and not scratchy.

I'm not that hard up to ride. Hopefully my crashing days are over.

Even though I took a spin in January. Got a bit squirrly on a frozen gravel road.

I'm too old for that shit...

At least we are having seasonal temperatures.

Yes, very nice to see the temp stay above 20 overnight. Much more gooder, we'll soon be out and about again.

I did bring the KLR out today, since it's quite nice, but I scouted the route first yesterday.
